Zuku Telephone

The phone uses a secure internet connection to work. First confirm that the internet is working.

  • If Internet is working, check the cable that connects the phone to the cable modem and ensure it is on Port 1. Test again.
  • If the phone still doesn’t have a dial tone contact our customer care team on 0699 990 300 or send an email to support@zukufiber.co.tz

  • Confirm that you have sufficient balance on your account by dialing 1002
  • Dial 000 + Country Code + Area Code + Subscriber Number. For Example when calling a friend in USA dial 0001617XXXXXXX.

Check to make sure your phone has a dial tone. If not refer to the “My Phone has no dial tone procedure”

  • If the phone has a tone, check if you can call a Zuku line, e.g. 0699 990 300. If successful, check if your phone has credit to call numbers outside Zuku network by dialing 1002.
  • If you have credit and you still cannot make calls contact our customer care on 0699 990 300 or send an email to support@zukufiber.co.tz

For Local Calls:

This applies to calls within Tanzania

  • Zuku Number to Zuku Number dial 255 XXXX
  • For other landlines (TTCL, or any fixed provider)
  • Dial Area code + Telephone Number for example in Nairobi dial +255 XXXXXXX
  • For a mobile network (Vodacom, Tigo, Airtel etc.) dial Mobile Number for example 07XX XXXXXX

For International Calls:

This applies to all calls out of Tanzania

  • Kindly dial 000 + Country Code + Area Code + Subscriber Number. For Example when calling a friend in USA dial 0001617XXXXXXX.

Note: The 000 automatically replaces the + before any international number.

  1. For Zuku to Zuku calls, dial the recipient’s number directly without entering the area code.
  2. To dial a landline (TTCL and any other landline provider)
  • Dial Area code + Telephone Number. For example in Tanzania Dial 0255XXXXXXX
  • For a mobile network(Vodacom,Tigo,,Airtel) dial mobile number for example 07XX XXXXXX

  1. For Zuku to Zuku calls, dial the recipient’s number directly without entering the area code.
  2. To dial a landline (Telkom,KDN and any other landline provider)
  • Dial Area code + Telephone Number. For example in Nairobi Dial 020XXXXXXX
